TOPICS FOR COLLOQUIUM MICROBIOLOGY I :

-          General bacterial properties and bacterial structures

-          Bacterial genetic material; genetic exchange in bacteria

-          Virulence factor of bacteria

-          Mechanism of action of antibacterial agents

-          Bacterial resistance to antibacterial agents

-          Sterilization, control of sterilization, disinfection.

-          Microscopic examination of bacterial cell

-          Methods for isolation and identification of bacteria

-          Antimicrobial susceptibility testing

-          Streptococcus spp.

-          Staphylococcus spp.

-          Neisseria spp.

-          Enterobacteriaceae

-          Mycobacterium spp.

-          Gram negative non-fermentative bacteria

-          Clostridium spp.

-          Bacillus spp.

 

The results of the colloquium will be posted on January 9, 2017 until 12,oo pm. at the Faculty Website and at the Institute of Microbiology.
